TreeCare Workshop X Lee Kau Yan Memorial School
On July 7, 2025, CarbonCare InnoLab (CCIL) organised a TreeCare Workshop for Form 1 to Form 4 students of Lee Kau Yan Memorial School, with more than 20 students participating. The event was held at Breakthrough Youth Village.
Alan, the arborist, first introduced the students to basic tree knowledge, the work of an arborist, and how to identify tree species. Afterwards, under the guidance of instructors, the students formed groups and visited various areas of the campsite to observe and identify different types of trees.
Through this activity, the students not only gained foundational knowledge about tree conservation and species identification, but also developed a deeper understanding of the relationship between trees and the natural environment.
