Virtual SolarVisit X Salesian English School PTA
Organised by CarbonCare InnoLab, the SolarVisit of the Jockey Club SolarCare Programme was hosted on June 26th, which takes our participants around the Shek Pik Reservoir virtually.
CarbonCare InnoLab led 34 participants to explore the Shek Pik Reservoir via Zoom last Sunday. Led by Mr. Clement Leung, the previous head of the Mechanical and Electrical (Projects) Division in the Water Supplies Department, our virtual tour began by introducing the Floating Solar Power System, thus outlining its benefits and possibilities for future widespread adoption in Hong Kong.
Students and parents from Salesian English School showed great enthusiasm toward the Floating Solar Power System. During the Q&A session with Mr. Leung, our participants raised many meaningful questions, which allowed them to understand more about the application and future development of renewable energy, especially solar energy. Our participants are all eager and ready to contribute themselves in combating climate change.
