How to Build and Manage a Solar Power System?
Event Recap:
RE Webinar #2: "How to Build and Manage a Solar Power System?"
Solar Energy is the global energy trend right now, and it helps us to combat climate change. Technology development leads to decreasing cost of installing solar power systems, and the Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) scheme of the two power companies in Hong Kong brings money return to solar system owners. For the environment, for the money return, it is a worthy investment. RE Webinar #2: "How to Build and Manage a Solar Power System?"was held in 24 February 2020, we have invited Ir Chi Cheung (CC) Ngan, former Senior Manager- Renewable Energy of CLP Group, who has rich experience in the renewable energy industry, to share with us how to build and manage a solar power system. Content includes advice on sourcing and design, energy production estimation, operation and investment, quality check, etc. You are welcomed to watch the recording here (in Cantonese):

For the environment, for the money return, it is a worthy investment.
However, as all investment has risk, some people don’t go ahead because of many “unknown”. For example, people may be worried about how to build a high-quality solar power system, the length of the payback period, maintenance, etc. In this RE Webinar, we have invited Ir Chi Cheung (CC) Ngan, former Senior Manager - Renewable Energy of CLP Group, who has rich experience in the renewable energy industry, to share with us how to build and manage a solar power system. Content includes advice on sourcing and design, energy production estimation, operation and investment, quality check, etc.
Funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, CarbonCare InnoLab (CCIL) is proud to organise “Jockey Club SolarCare Programme” and provide renewable energy capacity building to NGOs in Hong Kong. We accelerate the use of solar energy and reduce carbon emissions for mitigating climate change crisis. We are now recruiting SolarCare Partners for Phase II.
If you are interested to join our programme, or if you plan to build a solar power system, no matter the size, join our webinar!
