Before the light replacement operation, volunteers received training on the LED light replacement process and precautions. Subsequently, the volunteers were divided into groups and visited the elderly households for detailed lighting assessments. During the process, we discovered that some elderly households not only had old light fixtures but also damaged light holders. In addition to replacing LED lights, the volunteers also helped the elderly replace damaged light holders to ensure electrical safety.
After two phases of the programme, we successfully replaced 21 LED lights for 8 elderly households, effectively improving their living environment and allowing them to live in a brighter and more comfortable space. At the same time, the high energy efficiency of LED lights helps promote a low-carbon lifestyle, while elderly households can also save on electricity bills, reducing their economic burden.
This collaboration not only helps improve the quality of life for the elderly but also promotes a low-carbon lifestyle in the community. The enthusiastic participation of Prosperity Group employees fully demonstrates corporate social responsibility. CarbonCare InnoLab x Prosperity Group “Tai Hang Tung Light Replacement Action”
CarbonCare InnoLab (CCIL) partnered with Prosperity Group to launch a two-phase Light Replacement Action in Sham Shui Po’s Tai Hang Tung Estate on October 4th and November 8th. A total of 31 Prosperity Group employees participated, assisting 8 elderly households with LED light replacements.Before the light replacement operation, volunteers received training on the LED light replacement process and precautions.
