Solar InnoWorkshop X Hong Kong Student Aid Society Primary School : DIY Solar Light Jar

Today, CarbonCare InnoLab hosted an event with 41 Primary 5 students at Hong Kong Student Aid Society Primary School. They had received excellent climate education, as evidenced by their ability to precisely answer the tutor's questions throughout the discussion on renewable energy. According to the tutor, they were extremely energetic despite it being 9 am in morning.

Students begin by drawing a line using a line drawing pen, as demonstrated by the tutor. Some students assisted themselves with cards and newspapers to create a finer line, demonstrating their inventiveness. The tutor utilized the three glass pigments of red, yellow, and blue as the fundamental colours and taught them to mix more than two colours to produce new hues, such as green and orange, once all of the students had finished the line drawing section. Among these, some pupils paint in unusual methods, such as mixing paint on paper and then applying it to glass. Everyone developed original and attractive designs that were paired with ecologically safe solar-powered lights at the conclusion of the session, and 41 solar-powered decorative lights were completed!
