Climate change has brought about drastic shifts in weather patterns, leading to the occurrence of severe heatwaves and extreme weather events in Hong Kong. A prime example of this is the recent September, where we witnessed a series of typhoons, heavy rainfall, widespread flooding, landslides, and even incidents of individuals being stranded in mountainous areas.
In light of these circumstances, our objective is to support outdoor enthusiasts, particularly hikers, by offering a survival hotline that can provide assistance in emergency situations, especially when individuals find themselves without cellular signal coverage. Our aim is to deliver effective solutions and aid to those facing critical challenges during their outdoor activities.
