Co-organisers
CarbonCare InnoLab (CCIL) is an independent community NGO dedicated to catalysing the transition to low-carbon lifestyles and promoting climate action. Through innovative approaches, community engagement, and multi-stakeholder collaboration, CCIL aims to empower society to effectively respond to the climate crisis. Additionally, we conduct research and educational initiatives to inspire climate ambition in Hong Kong and other cities in the region.
At CCIL, we believe there is great value in an organisation which combines knowledge of the intricate issues of climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience, with the upbeat and youthful call to innovate, participate, and act. Our initiatives particularly focus on promoting and utilising renewable energy sources to drive sustainable change.
Our mission is to nurture and expand a community active in climate justice through innovation, education, and action. We actively engage NGOs, businesses, policymakers, and youth in achieving a just transition to a low-carbon economy that respects and protects vulnerable communities.
