Hope House Organisation (Hope House) was established in 2007, and registered as a charitable organisation in 2008. Hope House is taking care of more than a hundred dogs and dozens of cats, all of them are mongrels and moggies. Hope House emphasised that all lives should be treasured, and follow their purpose of not killing and not abandoning.

The main task of Hope House is to save stray cats and dogs, including those hurt and abandoned. Hope House will trap and neuter them, provide them a place to recover, and then return them to their community. These actions would control the population of the strays, thus reducing their negative impact on society. They will also help strays with a gentle demeanour to find new homes, so that they can be loved and cared for. They also organise school visits to promote the awareness of animal protection and educate them on the right attitude of owning pets.

The solar panels were installed on the rooftops and roofs of the buildings in Precious Blood Children’s Village. There are a total of 32 solar photovoltaic(PV) panels, with a system capacity of 13.28 kWp. Their power generation in the first year was 9,015 kWh.

Hope House is located in Ngau Tam Me, Yuen Long and surrounded by dense trees. Therefore, before installing solar systems, we trimmed the tree branches that would block the sunlight. This system uses an optimizer that can monitor the power-generating condition of each solar panel independently, as well as increase the system's total power generation.
