Crossroads Foundation, located in Tuen Mun, is a non-profit organisation set up in Hong Kong aiming to link those who are in need with those who can provide help. Their services include humanitarian aid, donation of goods and capacity building.
The headquarter of the Foundation is quite large, a total of 494 solar panels were installed on the rooftops of four of the buildings, covering an area of approximately 10,635 square feet. The power generation in the first year was 197,000 kWh.
After participating in the programme, Crossroads realised the significance of Climate Change Education (CCE). They plan to establish an educational centre for Sustainable Development Goals, which will include the CCE programme.

This system uses an optimizer that can monitor the power-generating condition of each solar panel independently, as well as increase the system's total power generation.

This is the solar PV panel on the rooftop of the 29th block.

The solar PV panels on the 1st floor of the 29th block allows participants to observe at a close range.
Some of the solar panels can only be reached by climbing up the ‘cat ladder’.
