【Green Recovery Webinar】Green Building, Move Forward!

In Hong Kong, up to 70% of carbon emission comes from power generation. Buildings and infrastructures account for 90% of the city’s energy consumption. To reduce carbon emissions, the development of green building is one of the ways out. It plays an important part in the green recovery solution. Are you familiar with the scope of green building? What would be its future trends? Mr Ip Chung-Man, green architect and urban designer will shared with us on these topics.

Back in 2010, our government has launched the "BEAM Plus" certification, which provides a neutral assessment to measure the sustainable functions of buildings, but its standards are quite loose. Ir Albert Lai, Co-founder and Advisor of CarbonCare Innolab, gave his opinons on how the system could be improved, and also share the possibilities and challenges of gren buildings. Mr Chong Chan-Yau, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of CarbonCare Innolab commented as a respondent to their sharing. He concluded that green recovery is a big challenge for the world, and hoped that it could be part of our daily life.
